AWANA
AWANA is an outstanding and highly successful Bible club that has been around since 1950. What makes AWANA so popular? It is fun. What makes it so successful? It systematically teaches children God's Word.
Three main time segments of AWANA are:
- Handbook time
- Game Time
- Counsel Time
While the kids do enjoy games and learn to work together as a team, there is also a time to be instructed from God's Word and learn life changing truth. AWANA is great in helping young people develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally and socially. (Luke 2:52)
AWANA stand for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed". It is based on 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
AWANA special events are on our church calendar. AWANA meets on Sunday from 5:30PM-7:00PM
